The one where I want to work for Obama

The ability to construct a complete sentence.

The ability to remain calm and collected in hectic, controversial, and otherwise chaotic situations.

The ability to reason, conclude, debate, concede and generate a reasonable plan of action for a given problem.

The ability to understand that it’s the people of this great country that keep the wheels of America running.

The ability to admit that respect and support are not given … they are earned.

The ability to consider advice from another.

The ability to stand erect like a presentable and respectable leader, rather than leaning haphazardly on a nearby podium.

The ability to talk to Americans like they are equals rather than snicker and make snide comments.

What a fantastic leader.  America, once again, can hold its head high as a respectable member of planet Earth.  I think I’m the new Obama girl.

Admittedly, I wanted Hillary to win the election and select Obama as her VP.  Imagine, 16 years of prosperity.  Just imagine.  The Clintons did it once and they’d do it again, I’m sure.  Obama could take over at that point and continue the pattern of prosperity with his own twist.  Blissful dreams took over my sleep.   However, now that the election came and went I’m happy things worked out in Obama’s favor.  I may not be a poster child for change, however, I do believe that America needs a good 180 at this point.  The best thing for us to go all out and reverse course.   And I can’t wait … I just can’t wait for Obama to speak to the nation.  Imagine … complete sentences.  Can it be true?  Somebody pinch me.   I’m so excited!
